Springboard FutureChef Bridgend Local Final Film (2014)
Bridgend College hosts the Springboard FutureChef competition - three college students enter the competition to see who enters the finals.
This was the first documentary reality style piece of filmings I ever did whilst studying my Diploma in Creative Media Production. Filmed in Bridgend College and edited on Final Cut. Music created on Garageband.
The original cut did feature voiceovers and dialogue however it was met with audio difficulties. The judges and contestants did not have a microphone during the cooking and interview sequences and the voiceover did not seem to suit well with the edit.
WorldSkills UK Cooking Competition (2014)
Its time to get cooking! Four colleges groups work together to take part in a cooking competition at Bridgend College. The colleges are: Pembrokeshire, Gower, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend college.
I was lucky to get another chance to do another reality film based around cooking. Filmed in Bridgend College and edited on Final Cut. Music created on Garageband.
I was rather hoping me and the team were able to improve by giving the judges and contestants microphones during the session. However once we began filming, the cooks were almost halfway through the cooking process.
