Penarth's premier amateur dramatics society, 'PODS', has been entertaining the public since 1924, typically producing 4 shows each year....a March play, a May musical, an October play, and a December pantomime.

In 2025, they presented 'Shrek the Musical'. Matthew Lee was cast as Papa Bear (and a few various roles) but he was asked by the publicity team to take a few photographs of the rehearsals.

By May, Matthew took some photos and clips of their first dress run and produced two videos to be published on the group's social media pages to promote the show.
